We are transitioning from our summer sessions
where elementary children learned about their natural environment through the exploration of 10 coastal habitats, to a volunteer program to restore habitat with the help of
local high school students!

Hands On Learning

clam diggers

We encourage kids to get their hands dirty while cultivating respect for their environment.  We provide a variety of tools and equipment that your child will use to measure biotic resources and we teach scientific techniques to enhance their natural curiosity.

Exploration

Each day we will explore different habitats that provide unique natural environments.  Redwood forests, coastal dunes, estuaries, and the rolling hills of our upland chapparal.  A week of exploration with us will inspire your children to return to nature with you and their friends.

Fun Adventures

Every location we visit is chosen for the fun, SAFE, educational activities it can provide.  Whether we are identifying animal tracks on mudflats, searching through tide pools, finding frogs along creeks, or discovering invertebrates at the beach.  Life is good here in Half Moon Bay!

THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT!  WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF PLANNING FUTURE INTERNSHIPS FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS.
